From The Week of 1/7/19

I had an experience a couple of days ago that has me wondering what people really think is important to them for a coach. Is it what the coach has done as a runner recently or what total experience the coach brings to the table?

I hear of many people taking up coaching straight out of school or even in the middle of their prime racing days. Can they really focus on their athletes when their racing is still I priority?
