Winning: Did you do something beyond your comfort zone?

Winning isn't always about coming in first. For most of us it is about pushing our bounderies of comfort and persevering. Day-to-day this may be going farther than you have before or having a breakout workout. During a race it may be pushing the first miles harder and then see if you can maintain the effort for the whole race. Or maybe you blow up and learn something that you can bring to your training and next race. On the other end, what if you typically go out too fast? Start slower and see if you can maintain or get faster in the later stages of the race. It could be your most memorable race yet.
